This short film is about the abuse a mother and daughter undergo through the hands of a man. Told with a number of bloodstains and visions of monsters, this movie shows the horribly terrible life of those who experience domestic abuse.

This one affected me very much. It's honestly very brutal, so steel yourself before watching this.

(By the way, El Orden De Las Cosas is another heart-breaking film that tackles domestic abuse.)

This short film is about two girls who are best of friends, and how one of them may just have feelings for the other. It's interesting how this kind of scenario is applicable (and maybe more apparent) to everyone today, so be ever so mindful.

This dramatic short film about a woman and her husband's belt is almost heart-breaking. The subtle hint of domestic abuse rings throughout the film, and the story-telling for it has been done well.

This short film about a man rowing a boat to a "special place" is simple, yet rather thoughtful. I find it interesting how we progress through the man's life, and yet ultimately find out his destination at the end.

This dramatic short film about a certain medical result can make you end up incredibly frustrated. However, if the long-drawn tension annoyed you, just imagine what the man here's feeling, and may feel all over again. Cancer is just heart-breaking.

This film about a man caught in something dire while on his way to his girlfriend's is really quite sad. It's amazing how such a simple thing could embroil you into something, well, bloody.

Nevertheless, great suspenseful storytelling, and quite a turn of events.

This short film is dramatic, yet with a touch of thoughtfulness and a hint of historical rebellion.

I do wonder how it will feel like to be abandoned by everyone, and everything, during those last few moments.

Violento (Violent)

This film features the sad story of a bullied teenager.

While it was not as violent as I thought it would be, it had definitely pulled on my heartstrings. A moment of silence may be necessary after watching this.

Saying goodbye is almost always the sweetest if there was someone to leave behind.

This may sound like an infomercial at times, but it's an interesting look into the life of a mom dealing with her child - a child diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).

Suffice to say that I learned a little something about the mental disorder, and have since taken care not to use the term "OCD" so carelessly.

La Culpa (Guilt)

A mindfuck of a movie, even though it's less than 13 minutes. Features death, blood, and the spiraling stages of guilt. Totally understandable why it won a number of awards at film festivals. Brilliant!
