Brutal Relax

Mr. Olivarez comes out of recovery to enjoy the beach. Apparently, he will have more fun than he thinks he could, gore and creatures from the sea notwithstanding.

This fun short film is brought to you by the same guys who made the bloody great short, Fist of Jesus.

Zombies And Cigarettes

This short film about a sudden zombie attack at a mall reminds me of the movie/TV heroes who shine during crises exactly like this one. However, this film is not entirely about those kinds of heroes, but the regular people caught in such situations.

Ending was rather... anti-climactic, but in an interesting way.

Runner

This suspenseful short film features a running man, who, for some reason, gets himself into very weird action-packed scenarios. A lot of things may seem not to make sense initially (like brief English dialogues and what not), but it will all be clear at the end.

I don't quite know if it's a spoiler to say that it ends up with a very meta note, but it sure does.

Tadeo Jones Y El Sótano Maldito (Tadeo Jones And The Basement Of Doom)

A great underground secret that involves a cult, a couple of animals, and the next door store makes another great adventure for Tadeo Jones. You are what you eat, as they say.

This animated short is a sequel to Tadeo Jones.

Rosa

This one's happily science fiction, being post-apocalyptic in nature, with cyborgs abound. I love its premise, and it looks amazing to boot. I particularly like how it achieved an in-depth storyline without dialogue. Really great.

TDK (Twice Disabled Knight / El Guerrero Sordociego)

This short film is described as, "Three boys on the way back home witness an odd hero in action". What a funny little film! There was a moment of seemingly supposed silence, but it's important, so don't think the vid's broke. This is great stuff.
