Desanimado (Unanimated)

This short film is about a man who thinks he is different from everyone else - particularly because he thinks he's a cartoon character.

Told with bits of animation and an interesting monologue of a man who is not sure if he fits in with the world, this film made me think about how isolated people can be when they feel "too" different from others.

Superhéroe (Superhero)

This short film about a special kind of superhero is quite sweet. It's simple, and yet the narration is full of meaning. Heartfelt and beautiful.

Yo También Te Quiero (I Like You Too)

This short film features a guy talking about how he waits for his girl friend to be his girlfriend. The pains of being in this nefarious place is given glorious detail, and is peppered only by a building frustration... oh, and a dog.

(For another tale from the friendzone, check out La Carta De Los Secretos.)

Control Z

This short film about a guy wanting to edit his life is amusing, but it does have an interesting message at the end. Oh, and beware of amusing sex scenes here.

I don't think I'd like to edit my life that way myself. Hurrah for all its ups and downs.

*There are English subtitles for this, which you can enable as captions on the video.

No Me Ama (She Doesn't Love Me)

This short film about a couple traveling through Uruguay features an interesting monologue about a guy and his feelings for his girl. Is it about the words left unsaid, or the expression of love through little gestures?

Still, how cute.

La Carta De Los Secretos

This film about a guy who talks about the little secrets of the girl that he likes is actually rather endearing. I am loving that last line too.

El Síndrome Del Eterno Viajero (The Eternal Traveler Syndrome)

This short film is about the "eternal traveler syndrome", and here, a woman talks about that anxiety that makes you feel like you will never be happy in just one place. Thus, if you have this, you keep moving and traveling to find your peace of mind.

Quite interesting (and inspiring), especially if you're into traveling.

Lo Que Haría (What Would I Do)

This short film is about a woman who is talking about her fictitious life to a telemarketer on the phone.

Would you make up a story for a stranger to believe you are someone else? I think I would, if my heart couldn't take it too.
