El Vendedor de Humo

This animated short film deals with a smoke seller who wants to sell you all your wishes and dreams.

Great animation, nice music, fun little movie. Remember: Caveat emptor. (LMGTFY)

La Teta Que Os Falta (The Tit You Are Missing)

This short film features a stag party, but there's an underlying issue, too. I suppose it's NSFW due to a stripping scene, but what an end note. Not something to just laugh about, definitely.

Clara Como El Agua (Clara Like Water)

This short film features a girl who just happens to look different from her peers. Bullying, boys, and bioluminescent bays make this coming-of-age story quite an interesting one.

La Fábula del Dibujante (The Fable of a Cartoonist)

This sweet short film features a lonely man who draws comics about heroes, villains, and blonde girls for a living. A kind of animation finds its way within this short's frames.

Had to shed a tear for this one, especially with that end note. "You don't have to be a hero to save someone."

Alma

This beautifully animated film features a young girl and a doll shop.

Don't let the wonderful music deter you, and do be careful about satisfying that curiosity. You don't quite know where it will lead you to.

Sirenito (Little Siren)

This short film of a little boy wanting to dress up as a certain imaginary persona is funny, yet frustrating. Oh, the wonders of miscommunication, especially for a too-caring mother.

The Last Moments of Leopoldo Berenguer

This short film is dramatic, yet with a touch of thoughtfulness and a hint of historical rebellion.

I do wonder how it will feel like to be abandoned by everyone, and everything, during those last few moments.

Rigor

This funny little film is about the dangers of grammatical error in the real world. It is more dangerous than you would suppose.

El Prisionero (The Prisoner)

This is one great film about boy scouts, camping and friendship. Do remember to take account of your belongings at the end of the day.

*There are English subtitles for this, which you can enable as captions on the video.

Como Está La Cosa (Things Are Tough These Days)

This seems like a hyperbole about how tough it is to find a job. It's funny, but unfunny.

Una Limosna, Por Favor

This 30-second Spanish short film about a man and a blind beggar is short and sweet. This is also allegedly where the short film Historia De Un Letrero got its concept from.

Historia De Un Letrero (The Story Of A Sign)

This Mexican short film about a blind man and his sign won a prize at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival. Quite a touching movie; it brought tears to my eyes.

(Just to note: There has been talk that the concept for this film was plagiarized, with the initial concept from another short film named Una Limosna, Por Favor. Check out this YT video for more info, although there are no English subtitles for the news report.)

Violento (Violent)

This film features the sad story of a bullied teenager.

While it was not as violent as I thought it would be, it had definitely pulled on my heartstrings. A moment of silence may be necessary after watching this.
